Position: Software Engineer QA

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Summary: Alvaria, Inc. is currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer QA to join our team in Bangalore. As a Software Engineer QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• A four-year degree in a technical or engineering field is required. Minimum B.E. or MCA for Bangalore, India.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Physical requirements include sitting for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
• Design and execute test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software releases.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback and ensure that the software meets the requirements of end-users.
• Perform functional, integration, and system testing to ensure the overall quality of the software.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of software testing.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate any issues or concerns to the project lead.
