Position: Manual Tester

Location: Airoli Gigaplex, Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functional testing activities, including static, system, and system integration testing.
• Perform a thorough analysis of requirements specifications and design documents to identify testable conditions.
• Apply structured testing techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of manual testing practices and methodologies.
• Learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
• Prioritize and manage multiple demands, shifting priorities, and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Escalate issues accurately and efficiently to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
• Perform effectively under pressure and react appropriately in crisis situations.
• Create and deliver presentations as necessary.
• Engage and collaborate with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Provide recommendations and analytical expertise on enhancement requests from Engineering.
• Challenge enhancement requests if necessary.
• Strong knowledge of manual API testing with proficiency in at least one tool.
• Strong knowledge of database testing and mobile testing.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS.
• Strong knowledge of project management software such as JIRA.
• Willingness to work from the office.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Proficiency in participating in all functional testing activities.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze requirements and design documents.
• Excellent knowledge of manual testing practices and methodologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
• Flexibility to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues accurately and efficiently.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
• Ability to work under pressure and react appropriately in crisis situations.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
• Familiarity with manual API testing using relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of database testing and mobile testing.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS.
