Position: QA Manual Tester

Location: Makarba, Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities:

  • Report bugs and errors to the development teams, providing clear and detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
  • Conduct functionality testing to ensure that software applications meet the specified requirements and deliver an optimal user experience.
  • Develop and perform quality test processes, including test planning, test design, test execution, and test result analysis.
  • Make recommendations for repairing defects and improving software performance, collaborating closely with the development teams.
  • Create, review, and refine user experience documents, ensuring that they align with the project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases, as well as other test artifacts such as test data and data validation.
  • Execute test cases and analyze the results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across different web browsers and mobile devices.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of websites, web applications, and mobile applications to validate their functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand software requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Work with the team to continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.
  • Adhere to project timelines and meet project deliverables, ensuring that all testing activities are completed within the specified timeframe.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, tools, and testing practices to stay up to date with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a QA Manual Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in reporting bugs and errors using bug tracking tools and collaborating with development teams for issue resolution.
  • Sound understanding of functionality testing and the ability to validate software applications against defined requirements.
  • Proficient in developing and executing quality test processes, including test planning, test design, and test execution.
  • Familiarity with creating and maintaining functional test cases, test data, and data validation.
  • Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Experience in cross-browser testing and ensuring compatibility across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Strong understanding of website, web application, and mobile application testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile team.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Days: This is a full-time position with 5 working days per week.
