Position: QA Engineer

Location: Noida

Responsibilities:

• Utilize standard testing methodologies to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including system, regression, performance, and stress testing.
• Write test plans for our games and applications, ensuring that all features and functionalities are thoroughly tested.
• Develop manual test cases and scripts, and execute testing manually across a variety of devices to validate software functionality.
• Document defects using a bug-tracking system, providing clear and detailed descriptions of the issues encountered.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that identified defects are rectified and resolved.
• Provide clear steps to reproduce identified issues, supporting them with videos or screenshots whenever possible.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of iOS and Android games and apps, staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, collaborating effectively with the development team within an Agile environment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and tools, implementing them effectively in the testing process.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Exhibit patience for repetitive work and the ability to maintain focus and accuracy throughout the testing process.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans for games and applications.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts for manual testing.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems for defect documentation.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile team.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android games and apps, including their features and functionalities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
