Position: HIL Testing Engineer

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, UDS, and Diagnostics Protocols/Standards, for HIL testing activities.
• Demonstrate a strong system-level understanding of EE Body/Driver Assist/Safety Electronics domains.
• Perform diagnostics and network management functions of vehicle electronics.
• Develop test cases, test procedures, and test scripts based on requirements and vehicle functional specification documents.
• Utilize Python scripts and MATLAB M scripts to support test automation activities.
• Gain a deep understanding of vehicle functional requirements and ECU schematics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vehicle topology and architecture.
• Gain exposure to the development and validation of the latest vehicle features.
• Utilize test automation tools such as Automation Desk to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in HIL testing.
• Strong experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, and Diagnostics Protocols/Standards.
• Solid system-level understanding of EE Body/Driver Assist/Safety Electronics domains.
• Familiarity with diagnostics and network management functions of vehicle electronics.
• Ability to develop test cases, test procedures, and test scripts from requirements and vehicle functional specification documents.
• Hands-on experience with Python scripts and MATLAB M scripts.
• Understanding of vehicle functional requirements and ECU schematics.
• Knowledge of vehicle topology and architecture.
• Exposure to the development and validation of the latest vehicle features.
• Experience with test automation using tools such as Automation Desk.
