Position: Manual Tester Experience: 5-8 years

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Gurgaon

Notice Period: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and adherence to requirements.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on project specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify and report defects or issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Utilize SQL queries to validate and manipulate test data.
• Use Jira to manage and track defects, test cases, and test execution.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
• Provide inputs for test automation efforts and work closely with the automation team.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and documentation.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing.

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case development, and test execution.
• Proficiency in SQL to validate and manipulate test data.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Investment banking experience is an added advantage.
