Position: Senior QA Lead

Notice: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and become proficient in the product.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Participate in design discussions and provide timely feedback.
• Ensure the successful deployment of products.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Conduct training sessions and quizzes with the team.
• Groom and train young talents.
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, weekly team planning meetings, and application demos.
• Be available to stand by during weekends for support in case of any unplanned business-critical issues.

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to test APIs.
• Good exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Katalon, Postman, and JMeter.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets.
• Very good experience in automation testing frameworks.
• Exposure to Jira and test management tools.
• Hands-on experience in SQL and MongoDB.
• Exposure to the Spring framework and JavaScript frameworks will be a huge plus.
• Exposure to web development will be a huge plus.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
