Position: Senior QA Manual + Automation (Hybrid) Experience: 6+ years

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

As a Senior QA Manual + Automation (Hybrid) professional, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Manual Testing:
   • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate application functionality.
   • Create detailed and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
   • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
   • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve issues.
2. Automation Testing:
   • Utilize your automation testing expertise to design and develop automated test scripts.
   • Select appropriate automation tools and frameworks based on project requirements.
   • Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
   • Continuously enhance and maintain the automation framework for improved efficiency and reliability.
   • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
3. Test Planning and Strategy:
   • Participate in project planning and requirement analysis to define test objectives and scope.
   • Contribute to test strategy development, including test coverage and risk assessment.
   • Provide effort estimates and timelines for testing activities.
   • Identify test data requirements and coordinate with the team for test data setup.
4. Defect Management:
   • Track and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle using defect tracking tools.
   • Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
   • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure the stability of the software.
5. Test Documentation:
   • Create and maintain comprehensive test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
   • Ensure test documentation is up to date and aligned with project requirements.
   • Contribute to the improvement of test documentation templates and processes.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
   • Communicate test progress, results, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
   • Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality assurance-related matters.
7. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
   • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.
   • Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in manual and automation testing techniques.
   • Share knowledge and best practices with the team to improve overall testing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Strong experience in designing and executing manual test cases.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and test execution.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
