Position: Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer

Location: Mumbai

Libsys Inc. is a leading technology firm specializing in the Capital Market domain. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Test Engineers / Senior Test Engineers to join our team in Mumbai. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the testing of back-office operations in the Capital Market domain and work closely with stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day back-office operations in the Capital Market domain.
• Calculate brokerage, Margin Calculation for clients, and plan Daily Fund Position.
• Ensure margin compliance, pay-in, and pay-out of funds for clients.
• Maintain day-to-day Books of Accounts and check Capital adequacy.
• Generate and update pay-in instructions for both online and offline channels, handle closeouts for Securities Shortages.
• Provide daily reports on Stock Reconciliation and Ageing reports of shares held by the broking firm and Third Party shares received from clients for Pay-in obligation.
• Handle F&O trade processing, Error Calculation, Settlement Process, and Contract Bill generation.
• Generate Contracts Notes, Bills, and upload Exchange-related files.
• Manage Pay-In and Pay-Outs of shares on a daily basis, including Institutional Trade Confirmation.
• Perform MTM (Mark-to-Market) and Margin call calculations for all F&O clients on a daily basis.
• Download reports daily from the Clearing House (NSE) and BOLT (BSE), including daily obligation reports, Custodian trades report, shortages, auction report, and Pay-In & Pay-Out reports.
• Understand brokerage sharing between broker, sub-broker, and franchisee.
• Distinguish between back-office operations of Retail and institutional trades.
• Work with Back Office Applications and ensure their smooth functioning.

Testing Skills:

• Possess an in-depth understanding of software testing principles and practices.
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, including business users, IT, Vendors, Development team, QA, UAT, and SIT team.
• Ability to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from them.
• Proactive in executing test cases, participating in defect discussions, logging defects, and identifying and mitigating risks.
• Hands-on experience in Test Management tools like Quality Center and Defect Management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.
• Knowledge of databases and ability to run basic SQL queries.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-8 years of experience in testing back-office operations in the Capital Market domain.
• Familiarity with the intricacies of Capital Market processes and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
