Position: Senior Manual QA

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Job Overview: As a Senior Manual QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to automation testing and API testing efforts. Your expertise in these areas, along with your attention to detail and strong analytical skills, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases and test scenarios to verify software functionality.
• Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing activities are aligned with project timelines and requirements.
• Contribute to test plan and test case preparation, including defining test objectives and test coverage.
• Participate in test strategy discussions, providing insights and recommendations for test process improvements.
• Perform API testing to verify the functionality and integration of software components.
• Collaborate with automation testing teams to identify test automation opportunities and contribute to automation efforts.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior members of the QA team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in manual testing, automation testing, and API testing.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
• Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Good understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
• Experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
