Position: Senior Engineers in ” Manual Testing “

Locations: Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon Experience: 6+ years

Job Description: We are looking for experienced Senior Engineers to join our team at EPAM Systems. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your expertise in manual testing, functional testing, API testing using Postman, and database testing using SQL will contribute to the success of our projects. If you have 6+ years of experience in these areas and are interested in working in Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, or Gurgaon, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct manual testing and functional testing of software applications to ensure quality and adherence to requirements.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  3. Perform API testing using Postman to validate API endpoints, functionality, and integration.
  4. Conduct database testing using SQL to verify data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  6. Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  7. Provide accurate and timely test reports, status updates, and defect metrics.
  8. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing and quality assurance.
  9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years of experience in manual testing, functional testing, API testing using Postman, and database testing using SQL.
  2. Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and best practices.
  3. Expertise in functional testing of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and user expectations.
  4. Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, including testing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  5. Proficiency in database testing using SQL to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance.
  6. Familiarity with defect tracking tools and experience in defect management.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  9. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  11. Immediate joiners preferred.
