Position: QA Engineer

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing activities to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure software functionality meets specified requirements.
• Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements and design documents.
• Utilize testing tools effectively to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure that Java concepts are clear and applied appropriately during testing activities.
• Demonstrate good analytical and logical skills to identify potential issues and risks in software applications.
• Communicate effectively with the development team to provide clear and concise bug reports.
• Adhere to bug writing guidelines to ensure accurate and actionable bug reports.
• Have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year to 1.6 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in manual testing, with a clear understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
• Proficiency in using testing tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
• Clear understanding of Java concepts and their application in testing scenarios.
• Good analytical and logical skills to identify and assess potential issues in software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with bug writing guidelines to ensure accurate and actionable bug reports.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its various phases.
• Experience with any automation tool will be considered an added advantage.
• Must be a local candidate residing in Mohali, Punjab.
