Cygnet Infotech is currently seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing to verify software functionality and ensure it meets the specified requirements.
• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Conduct API testing to validate the communication between different software components.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Identify, track, and document software defects and work closely with the development team to ensure their resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with clients to understand their testing requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing.

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Experience in API testing, including validating data exchange and integration between software components.
• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language for test automation scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and track software defects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
