Position: QA Engineer

Location: Remote

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner – 30 days maximum

Cyclotron is seeking a passionate and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. If you have strong experience in functional testing, test automation, and test management processes, along with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing of software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and track defects to closure.
• Have a good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Utilize test automation tools, with a strong emphasis on Selenium or any other relevant automation tool.
• Work with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2 to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
• Utilize bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Bugzilla to track and manage defects.
• Communicate effectively with the development team and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Handle customer interactions and understand their requirements.
• Collaborate with international teams in a multi-site environment to develop products.

Requirements:

• Around 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on functional testing and test automation.
• Strong experience in writing test cases, test plans, and preparing test reports.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and test management processes.
• Experience in test automation using Selenium or any other relevant tool.
• Working knowledge of at least one database technology like Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Bugzilla.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in handling customers and understanding their requirements.
• Ability to work in an international multi-site environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is preferred.
