Position: Performance Tester

Location: Bengaluru

Job Description: As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and scalability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to design and execute performance test scenarios, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks. Your role will involve using tools such as Apache JMeter for load testing and performance monitoring. Additionally, familiarity with distributed load testing, CI/CD configuration, and the basics of AWS/Azure will be beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand performance requirements and objectives.
• Design and execute performance test scenarios using tools like Apache JMeter.
• Monitor and analyze application performance during load testing to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Generate comprehensive performance test reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance and scalability.
• Identify and document performance testing issues and risks.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in using Apache JMeter for load testing and performance monitoring.
• Experience with distributed load testing and understanding of its challenges.
• Familiarity with CI/CD configuration to integrate performance testing into the development process.
• Basic knowledge of AWS/Azure and its services related to performance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
