Position: Mid-Level Manual Tester

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level Manual Tester at Collabera Digital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and functional issues.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the software’s functionality and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective testing.
  • Performing various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identifying and documenting defects and issues in a clear and concise manner, following established processes and tools.
  • Working closely with the development team to reproduce and investigate reported issues and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Utilizing Mobile Testing using BrowserStack to test mobile applications across different devices and platforms.
  • Adhering to testing best practices and ensuring that all testing activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Providing regular updates on testing progress and test results to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Collaborating with team members to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to manual testing and mobile testing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, and test case development.
  • Experience in Mobile Testing using BrowserStack for at least 2 years is preferred.
  • Knowledge of testing software products and understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with testing techniques and tools for different types of testing.
  • Solid understanding of the principles of software testing, including test design and defect management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document defects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
