Position: Manual Testing – QA Role

Location: Remote / Work from Home

Sulopa Technologies, a leading technology company, is offering a permanent work-from-home job opportunity for an experienced Manual Testing professional. We are hiring for a QA role, requiring at least 4 years of experience as an individual contributor in the field of manual testing. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design, defect process, and proficiency in test management tools like HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of Agile processes and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Design test cases based on project requirements and execute them effectively.
• Manage the end-to-end test process, including test case design, test execution, and daily reporting of test results.
• Track and manage defects, ensuring their timely registration and resolution.
• Utilize test management tools like HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS to organize and track testing activities.
• Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in Agile ceremonies and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress and results.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation related to test cases, defects, and testing activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an individual contributor in manual testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing activities.
• Proficiency in test case design and execution.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with the defect process, including defect registration and tracking.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS (experience with at least one of these tools).
• Good understanding of Agile processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
