Position: Manual Tester

Location: Kochi or Trivandrum

Job Description: As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects and ensure product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
2. Design and develop comprehensive test cases based on project requirements.
3. Execute test cases and record test results to identify software defects.
4. Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
5. Work with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
6. Follow testing best practices and adhere to project timelines.
7. Document and report software defects using Jira or other defect tracking tools.
8. Participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies.
9. Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in manual testing.

Qualifications:

1. 3 to 7 years of experience in manual testing.
2. Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
3. Proficiency in using Jira or other defect tracking tools.
4. Hands-on experience in Agile Methodology.
5. Familiarity with software development lifecycles and testing best practices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
