Position: Manual Testing

Location: Pune

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manual Tester to join our team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, with expertise in test case creation, bug tracking, and knowledge of test management tools. Strong communication skills and familiarity with agile development methodologies are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Create manual test cases and test scenarios based on mock-ups or use cases.
• Understand the requirements thoroughly and generate strong queries to clarify any ambiguities.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, ad hoc testing, and sanity testing.
• Utilize bug tracking and management tools such as JIRA, Mantis, or Bugzilla to track and report defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Create and maintain relevant test documentation, including Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Test Plan, and other documentation as required.
• Familiarity with API testing and experience in the banking domain will be an added advantage.
• Work in an Agile development environment, following methodologies such as Scrum.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, both verbally and in written form.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 3-5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Knowledge of test management tools such as TestLink or TestRail.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end functional testing, regression testing, ad hoc testing, and sanity testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and management tools like JIRA, Mantis, or Bugzilla.
• Ability to create and maintain relevant test documentation, including RTM and Test Plan.
