Position: Manual Tester with Japanese Certification

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Tester with Japanese certification to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, ensuring the quality and functionality of our products, and providing support to Japanese clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills in Japanese and have a thorough understanding of the testing life cycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Fluent in Japanese: The candidate should be fluent in Japanese with at least N3 level certification. Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Japanese is essential to effectively communicate with Japanese clients and understand their requirements.
2. Japanese Customer Handling: The candidate should have prior experience in handling Japanese customers. They should be able to provide excellent customer support, address queries and concerns in a timely manner, and maintain strong client relationships.
3. Testing Life Cycle: The candidate should be well-versed in the testing life cycle, including test planning, test design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. They should be able to create test cases, execute them, and provide detailed reports on test results.
4. JIRA Tool Awareness: Familiarity with JIRA, a popular project management and issue tracking tool, is preferred. The candidate should have knowledge of creating and managing test-related tasks, defects, and test execution cycles using JIRA or similar tools.
5. JLPT Certification: The candidate should hold a JLPT N2 or N3 certification, showcasing their proficiency in the Japanese language. They should be able to fluently converse with Japanese clients, understand their requirements, and effectively communicate project updates and issues.
6. Manual Testing Expertise: The candidate should have practical knowledge and experience in manual testing. They should be proficient in test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting. They should possess a strong understanding of various testing techniques, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing.
• Japanese language proficiency with at least N3 level certification.
• Experience in handling Japanese customers and providing excellent customer support.
• Strong understanding of the testing life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue tracking tools.
• JLPT N2 or N3 certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
