Position: Manual Tester

Location: Bangalore

Sapiens, a leading global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Manual Tester to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a Manual Tester at Sapiens, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. If you are passionate about testing, have a strong understanding of functional testing, SQL, UI testing, and Agile methodologies, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing of software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system specifications and identify test requirements.
• Execute manual tests, record test results, and report any defects or issues found during the testing process.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of software applications after changes or enhancements.
• Perform UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Utilize SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to understand application functionality and resolve any issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Manual Tester or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience with SQL queries and database testing.
• Familiarity with UI testing and the ability to identify and report UI issues.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
