Position: Associate Finance Job Level: 0-4 years

Location: Multiple Locations

Role Summary: Infosys is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Finance to join our Finance team. As an Associate Finance, you will play a crucial role in supporting various financial operations and assisting in driving strategic financial decisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent Chartered Accountant graduates who are looking to build a successful career in finance with a leading global company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Finance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making. Monitor key financial metrics, perform variance analysis, and contribute to financial forecasting and planning processes.
  2. Corporate Accounting Group: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  3. Corporate Finance: Support corporate finance activities, including capital structure management, investment analysis, and financial modeling. Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment proposals. Monitor and report on the financial performance of investments.
  4. International Taxation: Work closely with the tax team to ensure compliance with international tax regulations. Assist in preparing tax returns, analyzing tax implications of cross-border transactions, and providing guidance on tax planning strategies. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  5. Mergers and Acquisitions: Participate in merger and acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of acquisition strategies and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  6. Revenue Assurance Group: Support the revenue assurance team in monitoring and analyzing revenue streams, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing control measures to minimize revenue leakage. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.

Education and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and taxation regulations.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other financial software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
