Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation frameworks and scripts for API testing using Rest Assured.
• Perform API testing, including functional, performance, and ETL testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues related to API and microservices.
• Utilize Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Java to enhance the automation testing process.
• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles and best practices in the testing process.
• Utilize AWS cloud services for API testing and ensure the scalability and performance of the applications.
• Work with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub for test management, continuous integration, and version control.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in quality assurance with expertise in test automation.
• Proficiency in Rest Assured for API automation testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing, ETL testing, SQL, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Java.
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Cloud skills, specifically experience with AWS services for testing purposes.
• Experience working with Jira, Jenkins, and GitHub for test management and version control.
• Knowledge and experience of API and microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
