Position: Appium Testing Engineer

Location: Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgoan

CodersBrain, a leading technology solutions provider, has immediate openings for skilled and experienced Appium Testing Engineers. We are seeking individuals with a deep understanding of various automation frameworks and their implementation. As an Appium Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and coding core components of automation frameworks, adapting to new frameworks and platforms, creating custom functions and libraries, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for talented professionals who can join our team and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand and analyze automation requirements and design efficient and effective test strategies using Appium Testing.
2. Design and code core components of at least one type of framework, such as Keywords, BDD, TestNG, or JUnit.
3. Quickly adapt to new frameworks and platforms with limited guidance, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
4. Develop custom functions and libraries to enhance test automation capabilities and improve test coverage.
5. Demonstrate proficiency in Java/JS programming with a solid understanding of OOPS concepts, basic loops, arrays, collections, trees, stacks, and queues.
6. Utilize test management tools like ATM, QC, Zephyr, and defect management tools like Jira, QC, etc., to streamline the testing process and track defects.
7. Apply traceability and test design techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project requirements.
8. Have experience with API and creative automation, as well as accessibility, analytics, and SEO testing.
9. Work on both web and mobile app testing, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and performance across different platforms.
10. Create and adhere to QA processes set up for the project, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
11. Create low-level test cases based on high-level test scenarios, ensuring accurate and comprehensive coverage.
12. Develop end-to-end test scripts to validate the functionality and reliability of the software products.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the testing process.
14. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Appium testing and incorporate them into the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 4 to 8 years of experience as an Appium Testing Engineer or in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of various automation frameworks and their implementation.
3. Ability to design and code core components of at least one type of framework (Keywords, Appium Testing, BDD, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
4. Quick adaptability to new frameworks and platforms with limited guidance.
5. Proficiency in Java/JS programming with a solid grasp of OOPS concepts, basic loops, arrays, collections, trees, stacks, and queues.
6. Experience with test management tools such as ATM, QC, Zephyr, and defect management tools like Jira, QC, etc.
7. Familiarity with traceability and test design techniques.
8. Experience in API testing and creative automation, as well as accessibility, analytics, and SEO testing.
9. Proven experience in web and mobile app testing, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and performance across different platforms.
10. Ability to create and adhere to QA processes set up for the project.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
13. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BCA).
