Working within Product Engineering, your mission will be to play an active role in identifying and testing key features of the product. Apart from building automation test scripts, you should be able to develop well-planned and structured test plans/cases. You should also be able to mentor, guide and train other engineers. You should be able to evaluate the product requirements, time limitations and system limitations when developing automation tests and be up to date on new technologies and software testing practices.

Job Summary

Gain an understanding of the product requirements and develop automation suites to test the product during development and release phase
Devising ways to improve the software testing process to ensure higher-quality releases.
Ensure high level of automation and reducing time to market
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing use cases
Participate in automation and performance testing
Be the voice of customer for quality and user experience

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prioritize automation test activities
Plan and execute automation and performance testing
Product functionality, robustness and scale testing
Prepare automation scripts
Coordinate with the product owner and product development team to achieve optimum automation
Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
Suggest automated software test procedures
Develop,maintain,execute,andtroubleshootautomationsoftwareissues
Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
Assist directly and indirectly in the hiring process and development of technical talent
