Position: ServiceNow Tester

Location: Hyderabad, India

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow applications.
• Execute test cases and test scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, reliability, and security of ServiceNow applications.
• Identify and document defects, issues, and risks in a clear and concise manner, ensuring proper tracking and resolution.
• Perform regression testing to validate the impact of changes and updates on existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ServiceNow testing.
• Participate in team meetings, discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools for efficient and effective testing processes.
• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
• Provide guidance and support to junior testers and team members as needed.
• Adhere to established quality assurance processes, standards, and timelines to deliver high-quality testing deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Tester, with 2-5 years of experience in testing ServiceNow applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform, modules, and workflows.
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
• Experience in executing functional, integration, system, and regression tests.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
• Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages is a plus.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
