Position: BI Tester and ETL Tester

Location: Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Noida

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled professionals to join our team as BI Testers and ETL Testers. These positions are available in multiple locations, including Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Noida. Responsibilities:

• BI Testing: As a BI Tester, you will be responsible for testing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design test scenarios, execute test cases, and validate data accuracy and completeness.
• ETL Testing: As an ETL Tester, you will be responsible for testing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. This includes validating data extraction from various sources, performing data transformations, and loading data into the target systems. You will verify data quality, integrity, and conformity to business rules.
• DWH Testing: In addition to BI and ETL testing, you will also be involved in Data Warehouse (DWH) testing. This involves validating the data model, data integration, data consistency, and data reconciliation within the data warehouse environment.
• SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills are essential for both BI and ETL testing roles. You will be responsible for writing and executing complex SQL queries to validate data, perform data analysis, and troubleshoot issues.
• Test Planning and Execution: You will collaborate with project teams to understand requirements, develop test strategies, and create test plans. You will execute test cases, document test results, and report defects using established testing methodologies and tools.
• Test Data Management: You will be responsible for creating and managing test data sets required for testing activities. This includes identifying and preparing relevant test data, ensuring data privacy and security, and maintaining data integrity throughout the testing process.
• Defect Management: You will identify, log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools. You will work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and verify defect fixes.
• Test Automation: Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is desirable. You will contribute to test automation efforts by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Test Documentation: You will be responsible for documenting test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test results. This includes creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation to ensure traceability and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in BI, ETL, and DWH testing is crucial. You will actively participate in training sessions, webinars, and conferences to enhance your skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BI testing and/or ETL testing.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in BI testing, ETL testing, DWH testing, and SQL.
• Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
