Position: Test Engineer (EBT Testing support for mobile app)

Location: Offshore/Remote

Testhouse India Pvt Ltd is currently hiring for the position of Test Engineer. As a Test Engineer, you will provide EBT (End-to-End Business Testing) support for mobile app and servicing portal projects. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the testing domain, with primary knowledge in Motor Insurance & Testing. Exposure to the insurance domain and mobile testing is required.

Responsibilities:

• Create test estimates and schedules for assigned projects.
• Develop test strategies and plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare effective test cases based on user stories provided in the Motor Insurance domain.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including regression, functional, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Adhere to processes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Execute testing tasks on a daily basis and deliver timely and accurate test results.
• Prepare test logs, defect reports, and other documentation for evidence of testing.
• Report progress of testing activities to management and project stakeholders.

Skills and Knowledge:

• 5 years of experience in the testing domain.
• Strong knowledge and exposure to the insurance domain, particularly Motor Insurance.
• Experience in mobile testing.
• Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Azure board.
• Ability to prepare effective test cases and drive the test case strategy.
• Hands-on experience with defects management tools.
• Strong report preparation and presentation skills.
