Position: Manual/Automation Tester

Location: Pune

Job Summary: Finaleap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual/Automation Tester to join our team in Pune. As a Manual/Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop test strategies, design test cases, execute tests, and report defects. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and plans.
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure the overall quality of software releases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking systems, and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues, providing detailed bug reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on test progress, product quality, and any potential risks.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team, providing technical expertise and support.

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of experience as a Manual/Automation Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in both manual and automation testing, including designing and executing test cases and developing automated test scripts.
• Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and experience in database testing.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
