Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Pune

Job Summary: Excal Technologies, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
• Design and execute test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the integrity and stability of software releases.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of software testing.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and escalate any issues or concerns to the project lead.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1-4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or a similar role.
• Educational qualification: B.C.A./B.Sc.-Experienced, BE/M.C.A./B.Tech/M.Sc.-Fresher.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
