Position: Senior Performance Tester

Greetings from Test Yantra Software Solutions! We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Performance Tester to join our team. As a Senior Performance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our software systems. If you have expertise in Performance Testing with JMeter, along with strong scripting skills and knowledge of related tools, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance testing activities using JMeter, ensuring the performance and scalability of software systems.
• Interpret and analyze performance test reports, identifying areas for improvement in performance metrics.
• Provide meaningful recommendations to optimize system performance based on test results.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Java, Groovy, or BeanShell scripting languages.
• Work with Jenkins and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to set up performance testing environments.
• Set up and configure mocks to simulate real-world scenarios during performance testing.
• Conduct web services/API testing using tools like Postman, ensuring the performance and reliability of APIs.
• Utilize GIT/Bitbucket for version control and collaborate with the development team.
• Possess knowledge and experience in functional automation testing using JUnit (added benefit).
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills, interacting with stakeholders to close activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in performance testing, with a strong focus on JMeter.
• Ability to interpret and explain performance test reports, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Strong hands-on experience in scripting using Java, Groovy, or BeanShell.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for performance testing setup.
• Prior experience in setting up mocks for simulating real-world scenarios.
• Experience in web services/API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with GIT/Bitbucket for version control.
• Knowledge of functional automation testing using JUnit is an added benefit.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a proactive approach to close activities.
