Position: Lead – QA Engineer/Manager

Location: Bangalore

Gmware is currently hiring for the position of Lead QA Engineer/Manager. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience in QA engineering. As a Lead QA Engineer/Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of QA engineers and manage their day-to-day activities.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify and document defects and issues, working closely with the development team for resolution.
• Define and implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring the professional growth and development of the team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA engineering and API testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate test status reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in QA engineering.
• Strong expertise in API testing, with a focus on RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in using tools like Postman for API testing.
• Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is a plus.
