Position: Software Test Engineer

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

As part of our expansion plans, we are currently seeking experienced Software Test Engineers to join our team in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and fulfill client requirements.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify functionality, performance, and security of the software.
  • Perform regression testing to identify and report defects, track their resolution, and ensure proper closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and validate software functionality.
  • Utilize VMware and virtualization technologies to set up test environments and perform testing activities.
  • Test storage systems and networking components to validate their functionality and integration with the software.
  • Conduct testing and validation of Citrix environments, ensuring smooth operation and compatibility with the software.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Continuously improve testing processes by implementing best practices, automation frameworks, and innovative techniques.
  • Communicate test progress, test results, and any potential risks or issues to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Provide input to the development team on software quality and collaborate in defect resolution.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, with a focus on manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Proficiency in VMware and virtualization technologies for setting up test environments.
  • Solid understanding of storage systems and networking components and their interaction with software.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and validating Citrix environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and report software defects.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Immediate to 2-week notice period availability.
