Position: Software Quality Engineer Experience: 2+ years

Job Description:

As a Software Quality Engineer at Sphera, you will be part of a global team responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing test plans, test suites, and test cases. You will utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise in front-end testing (UI), back-end testing (C#, DB, APIs, services), and test automation using various technologies, frameworks, and tools will be crucial in achieving our testing objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test suites, and test cases using both manual and automated testing techniques.
2. Perform front-end testing (UI) to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of the user interfaces.
3. Conduct back-end testing, including testing of C#, databases, APIs, and services, to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using technologies and frameworks such as C#/.NET and Microsoft testing frameworks.
5. Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of code.
8. Work with Azure DevOps to manage test artifacts, test environments, and test execution.
9. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
10. Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Strong experience in both Automation and Manual Testing.
4. Proficiency in front-end testing (UI) and back-end testing (C#, databases, APIs, services).
5. Hands-on experience with C#/.NET and Microsoft testing frameworks for API and automated testing.
6. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for managing test artifacts and test execution.
7. Familiarity with test automation tools, technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
10. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
