Position: ServiceNow Tester cum ATF Developer

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)

Burgeon IT Services, a leading IT services provider, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Tester cum ATF Developer to join our team. If you have a strong background in ServiceNow testing and development, along with experience in automated testing using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Possess at least 5 years of experience as a QA Tester, including a minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in ServiceNow platform testing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in testing and debugging skills on the ServiceNow platform.
• Conduct testing on ServiceNow modules customization to ensure the functionality and integrity of the system.
• Perform testing on ServiceNow instance integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Have knowledge of end-to-end testing of business workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
• Have experience in testing with automation tools, specifically the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Java-based automation.
• Define and document test cases based on requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Upgrade existing test cases to accommodate system changes and define regression test cases.
• Define UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test cases and validate issues during the UAT phase.
• Prepare test execution plans and provide test execution reports to track progress and identify issues.
• Develop test cases using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to automate testing processes.
• Ability to identify potential and actual issues, suggest improvements, and effectively track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Developers to understand requirements and associated functionality.
• Exposure to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodology, and various testing concepts such as black box testing, system testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Tester, with at least 3 years of experience in testing ServiceNow platform.
• Strong knowledge and experience in testing and debugging on the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficiency in testing ServiceNow modules customization and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience in automated testing using the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Java.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
