Position: Senior Test Lead (Informatica, ADO)
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Define test strategies based on project requirements and scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand testing needs and align test plans accordingly.
- Guide and mentor testers in creating effective test cases and executing them to validate software functionality and compliance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review test plans, test results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software products.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing and quality assurance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Informatica and compliance testing.
- Strong working knowledge of Informatica and ADO (Testing Module).
- Proven experience in defining test strategies and test plans based on project requirements.
- Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficient in guiding testers in creating comprehensive test cases and executing them effectively.
- Solid understanding of test automation and experience in utilizing automation tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid mode, combining remote work with onsite presence in Bangalore.
