Position: Senior QA Manual + Automation (Hybrid)

As a Senior QA Manual + Automation (Hybrid), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing methodologies. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about quality assurance and possesses expertise in both manual and automation testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
3. Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
5. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
6. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations to improve software quality and testing processes.
7. Continuously enhance and refine the existing testing framework, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and testing.
9. Mentor and guide junior members of the QA team, providing technical expertise and sharing industry knowledge.
10. Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to developers on code quality and testability.
11. Collaborate with the release management team to ensure smooth deployment of software releases.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
3. Strong expertise in designing, developing, and executing manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
4. Proven experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
5. Solid understanding of various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, functional, regression, and integration testing.
6. Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects and issues accurately.
8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
10. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
11. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
12. Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools and processes is a plus.
13. ISTQB or similar certification is desirable but not mandatory.
