Position: Senior QA Engineer

Location: Pune

Must-Have Skills:

1. Expertise in Performance Testing using LoadRunner.
2. Strong skills in HTTP/HTML, REST services, SAP GUI & Web protocol scripting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and quality of our software applications. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Performance test scripting: Developing performance test scripts using LoadRunner, considering the project’s Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and workload modeling.
2. NFR Gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and understand performance-related Non-Functional Requirements.
3. Workload Modelling: Analyzing the expected workload and defining appropriate load profiles for performance testing.
4. Scripting: Creating and maintaining performance test scripts using LoadRunner, focusing on HTTP/HTML, REST services, SAP GUI, and Web protocols.
5. Test Execution: Executing performance tests, monitoring system behavior, and analyzing test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
6. Result Analysis: Analyzing test results to identify performance bottlenecks, recommending optimizations, and providing fine-tuning recommendations to developers and system administrators.
7. Independent Work: Demonstrating the ability to work independently, taking ownership of performance testing activities, and driving them to completion.
8. Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and system administrators, to understand system architecture and behavior to effectively plan and execute performance tests.
9. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving performance testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in QA, with a strong focus on performance testing.
• Expertise in Performance Testing using LoadRunner, including workload modeling, scripting, test execution, and result analysis.
• Strong skills in scripting using HTTP/HTML, REST services, SAP GUI, and Web protocols.
• Experience in analyzing performance test results, identifying bottlenecks, and providing fine-tuning recommendations.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of performance testing activities, and drive them to completion.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
