Responsibilities:

As a Senior QA at MOURI Tech, your responsibilities will include:

• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test strategies. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with project goals and quality standards.
• Test Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. Execute test cases, identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.
• Test Automation: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. Identify opportunities for test automation and implement efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure that all testing activities are properly documented and easily accessible for future reference.
• Test Reporting: Generate and present test reports to stakeholders, highlighting test results, metrics, and overall system quality. Communicate testing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to project teams and management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the testing process. Participate in project meetings and provide valuable inputs from a quality perspective.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify areas for process optimization, implement best practices, and drive efficiency in the testing lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Strong expertise in test planning and strategy development. Ability to define testing goals, scope, and approach based on project requirements.
• Test Execution: Proficiency in executing various types of testing, such as functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to resolution.
• Test Automation: Hands-on experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Familiarity with automation scripting languages and frameworks.
• Test Documentation: Excellent documentation skills to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Attention to detail in documenting test results and defects.
• Test Reporting: Ability to generate comprehensive test reports, including test results, metrics, and system quality. Strong communication skills to effectively present test reports to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership skills to drive quality initiatives and mentor junior team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Passion for continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest testing trends, methodologies, and tools. Ability to identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices.
