Position: Senior QA

Location: Hyderabad

MOURI Tech, a leading technology solutions company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA professional to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Senior QA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Notice Period: 0-30 Days

Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements.
  • Test Execution: Perform comprehensive testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to ensure the software meets the specified quality standards.
  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Defect Management: Identify, track, and report defects using defect tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to facilitate their timely resolution.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports, to ensure thorough test coverage and traceability.
  • Test Environment Setup: Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, for accurate testing.
  • Test Data Management: Ensure the availability of relevant and representative test data for testing activities and maintain data integrity and privacy.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software quality assurance to drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Test Automation: Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
  • Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Test Methodologies: Solid understanding of various testing methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Defect Management: Experience in defect management and working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Documentation: Ability to create comprehensive test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports.
  • Performance Testing: Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
