Position Overview:
As a Senior Manual Tester at Test Yantra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions, specifically within the Life Insurance domain. Your expertise in testing Policy servicing modules and Database will be invaluable in maintaining high-quality standards.

- Domain Expertise:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Life Insurance domain to conduct thorough testing.
- Focus on Policy servicing modules to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Policy Servicing Modules Testing:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of Policy servicing modules to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.
- Database Testing:
- Apply expertise in Database testing to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability.
- Primary Testing Areas:
- Specialize in testing Insurance domain functionalities, especially Policy servicing modules.
- Secondary Skills:
- Possess knowledge of Ingenium application and Automation, providing additional value to the testing process.
- Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed test plans and strategies to guide testing activities.
- Execute manual tests, ensuring thorough coverage of testing scope.
- Defect Identification and Tracking:
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and priorities.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in manual testing roles, with a focus on the Life Insurance domain.
- Expertise in testing Policy servicing modules and Database.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Ingenium application and Automation is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
