Job Description:
Position Overview:
Thinkitive Technologies is looking for a dedicated and talented QA (Manual Testing) professional to join our growing team. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This role is based in Pune and involves working from the office.

- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
- Define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Test Case Design and Execution:
- Create detailed and well-structured test cases and test suites based on project requirements.
- Execute manual tests to evaluate product functionality and performance.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- SDLC and STLC Compliance:
- Ensure that testing activities align with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
- Agile Methodology:
- Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint retrospectives.
- API Testing (Good to Have):
- Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality (if applicable).
- Test Scenarios and Test Data:
- Develop and maintain test scenarios and test data to support test case execution.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in manual testing.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and priorities.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-3 years in manual testing roles.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Good to have experience with API testing.
