Key Responsibilities:

Manual and Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
API and Web Services Testing: Conduct API and web services testing using tools like Postman. Ensure the integrity and reliability of API endpoints.
Programming Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages, including Core Java and Advanced Java (Java 8 and above). Utilize Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
Test Data Management: Create and manage test data for various testing scenarios. Write formal test plans and execute them diligently.
Database Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in at least one database management system (e.g., Oracle, SQL, NoSQL) to conduct database testing.
Issue Management: Use Jira for issue management and defect tracking. Collaborate with development teams to track and resolve issues efficiently.
Test Methodologies: Apply various test methodologies, including Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Back-end Testing, and Positive/Negative Testing.
Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams to define and deliver projects. Understand and contribute to the software development process, including test-driven development.

Qualifications:

3+ years of formal Quality Assurance experience, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in API and web services testing, with experience using Postman.
Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUNIT or Test NG.
Strong programming skills, particularly in Core Java and Advanced Java (Java 8 and above).
Experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
Competence in test data management and formal test plan creation.
Proficiency in at least one database management system (e.g., Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with issue management and defect tracking using Jira.
Experience with various test methodologies, including Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Back-end Testing, and Positive/Negative Testing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
A sound understanding of the software development process and test-driven development.
