Position: QA Tester

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications to gain a thorough understanding of software requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to develop effective testing strategies and test plans.
• Execute test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure the software meets specified requirements.
• Analyze test results and evaluate product code against established specifications.
• Create detailed logs and documentation to track testing phases, defects, and their resolutions.
• Report bugs and errors to the development teams and provide them with comprehensive information.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
• Ensure that quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices.

Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.
• Working knowledge of SQL to perform database testing and validation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude to identify and resolve issues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively.

Good to Have:

• Experience with automation testing using industry-standard tools.
• Experience with API testing to validate application interfaces.
• Experience with mobile testing across different platforms.
• Additional certifications related to quality assurance or testing.
