Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for software applications to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies and approaches.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Perform thorough defect analysis, accurately document defects, and track their status throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Create and maintain test data and test environments necessary for executing test cases and replicating reported issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to verify defect fixes and ensure proper resolution of reported issues.
• Participate in test estimation, test planning, and test strategy activities to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
• Identify areas for test automation and work closely with the automation team to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies by implementing best practices and adopting industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Experience in functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Solid knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify testable scenarios, and create comprehensive test plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and isolate software defects.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
