Position: QA Manual + Automation Engineer

Location: Remote (WFH)

Unicode Systems is actively hiring for the position of QA Manual + Automation Engineer. We are seeking talented individuals with 2 to 5 years of experience in manual testing, automation testing, and a strong background in Selenium, Web/Mobile Testing, and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and previous experience in the Ecommerce domain. This position offers remote work (work from home) and requires the candidate to work during the night shift. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Perform automation testing using Selenium or similar tools/frameworks.
• Conduct web and mobile testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness across different platforms and devices.
• Perform API testing to validate the integration and functionality of APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide feedback on testing deliverables.
• Provide regular updates on test progress and quality metrics.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing using Selenium or similar tools/frameworks.
• Experience in web and mobile testing, ensuring compatibility and responsiveness across different platforms and devices.
• Experience in API testing to validate the integration and functionality of APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the Ecommerce domain is highly preferred.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to work during the night shift.
