Himflax is a leading technology company specializing in providing innovative solutions to its clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced QA Manual to join our team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in manual testing, functional and regression testing, API testing, DB testing, and web/mobile app testing to contribute to the success of our projects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts to validate the software’s performance, functionality, and usability.
• Conduct functional and regression testing to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in the software.
• Utilize Postman and other API testing tools to perform API testing and validate the functionality, performance, and security of APIs.
• Conduct DB testing to verify the accuracy and integrity of data stored in databases.
• Perform web and mobile app testing to ensure compatibility, responsiveness, and user-friendliness across different platforms and devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
• Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy discussions.
• Document and track defects using defect tracking tools and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide accurate and timely test reports, including test execution status, defect reports, and overall project quality metrics.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in functional and regression testing.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• 1.5+ years of experience in DB testing.
• 1+ years of experience in web and mobile app testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
