Position: QA Engineer

Location: Pune (Kalyani Nagar)

As a QA Engineer at vRhythms, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects and ensure their resolution. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software that meets our clients’ needs and exceeds their expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Executing functional, regression, and system integration testing to ensure software reliability and quality.
  • Conducting manual and automated tests to identify software defects, document test results, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Participating in product design and requirement review meetings to provide valuable input from a testing perspective.
  • Conducting performance testing to evaluate system performance, responsiveness, and stability.
  • Performing database testing to validate data integrity and ensure accurate data handling.
  • Investigating customer-reported issues, reproducing defects, and providing detailed bug reports.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of test environments, tools, and frameworks.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 8 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and processes.
  • Experience with test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing approaches and tools.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of database testing concepts, including data validation and SQL queries.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications will be a plus.
