Position: QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop effective test strategies.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects, ensure adherence to specifications, and validate user requirements.
• Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to address issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile Scrum meetings, providing input on testing efforts and collaborating with team members to meet project milestones.
• Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA or testing environment, preferably in a software development company.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in creating test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology and familiarity with the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate issues and recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
