Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team at Infotree Solutions Inc. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through automated QA testing and manual test script execution. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in QA engineering and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automated QA testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Execute manual test scripts to identify defects and issues in the software.
- Create and maintain QA test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Report and document automated test cases and results.
- Create and maintain requirements traceability matrix to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Utilize test coverage tools to assess the effectiveness of test cases and identify gaps in testing coverage.
- Communicate effectively with the development team and stakeholders to convey test results and address any issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and ensure timely bug resolution.
- Preferred experience in CAPPS HCM (Human Capital Management) and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Jira.
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and querying.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in the testing process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to document test cases, report defects, and convey testing status.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Proficient in automated QA testing and manual test script execution.
- Experience in QA test script creation and reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining requirements traceability matrix.
- Familiarity with test coverage tools to assess testing effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Preferred experience in CAPPS HCM and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Jira.
- Strong SQL skills for database testing and querying.
